It's only 8.40, and I'm so tired already.
I hate Fridays. It's the most boring day of the week. Even Anmol agrees.
I can't believe me and Julia lost to Carolyn and Lizzie! No offense, guys. Just saying. But it was really hot and I forgot to put sunblock and wear my cap, so everyone was really really hot. And towards the end of the match, all four of us had no more water, and coach doesn't let us go get water in the middle of a match, so we had to suffer in the heat and dehydration and humidity.
But even after it all, I still want to go and do it all over again!
But we would win this time though :)
Miss Chia, Mrs Pandian's relief teacher, is so smiley! :)
We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner! They have normal western food, but they call it australian names, like "Mac-a-roo Cheese", "Bloomin' Onions" and "Aussie fries". But the food's great :)
Time is such a weird concept. Like, everyone knows it's there, and we can feel it happening, and we know it's there, but no one can see it, or stop it from happening. It just... happens. I wonder who discovered it. If that person had not told everyone about it, no one would have any idea that it's there.
Huh.
I'm watching American Idol now! I bet Michael's gonna be out. It's so sad to make the bottom three wait around for an hour just to tell them that they're out. Then they perform for the very last time, and the judges don't save them and it's all sad. We live in such a sadistic world. But then again, I do enjoy watching Ninja Warrior. :)

MGS vs SCGS

YAY WE WON AGAIN TODAY!
We're top of our group :)
Semis are on... 3 april? I dunno, something like that.
Anyway, Lizzie and I lost our match. 9-8, tiebreak score 10-8.
It was the first time I have ever cried over a match.
But it was really close!! We saved like THREE match points and we had two. They were up 8-7 and it was SUDDEN DEATH, FORTY ALL. This was THE LONGEST POINT EVER! It was so scary and tense but we won it in the end! Then we lost the tiebreak. But at least we still won in the end!
Things I feel like saying to a few people:
Lizzie: NEVER MIND ABOUT TODAY! We're still awesome! We'll win in the semis, right? :) YAY go us! HAH*HAH*HAH (our supercool handshake, in case you were wondering)
Sarah: Hehe CLASSIC! Yeah.
Carolyn: "I bought MANGO TEA?!" HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA hilarious. My heart beats carolyn!! heeheeheehee
Ok I think I shouldn't talk about tennis so much in my posts. Do you non-tennis people get bored reading the tennis parts?
Um... we're having a class party tomorrow! To celebrate the Jan, Feb, March and April birthdays! Man, that was funny when we sang all eight birthday songs at one go.
Today was supposed to be scare lao shi day, but then all of us chickened out and ran out of class before lao shi came in. :)
Hehe we (me, sarah, debbie) were in the car eating Mcdonalds and trying to explain different words to Debbie.
Conversation 1:
Debbie: What's a locksmith?
Rachel: -.-
Debbie: No really! Is it someone who deals with locks?
Rachel: Think again Debbie.
Debbie: Metal? Vents? Tin?
Sarah: Close, Debbie. Close.
This went on for a while, then we finally moved on to another conversation, explaining the word metaphor. We came up with: "Metaphor: Like an analogy, but cooler."
Debbie: Is this a metaphor: Rachel's head is like a apple that I eat.

We played TK today!
We won 4-1!

I didn't play today though, I was linesman for Charmaine's match. She lost 9-4. :( It's ok, GOOD TRY! :)
YAY we're in the semis!!! But we have to win to
morrow so we can be top of our group and we won't have to play RGS. If we win, then we'll be playing CHIJ toa payoh!
I love tennis tournament :) We get to leave early from class and stuff!
Oh but I didn't get back Geog! eek I hope I didn't fail.
I'm such an idiot I forgot to look and see if my geog marks were on the paper, I just blindly signed. Argh.
OH we FINALLY finished the board yesterday! *winkwink lizzie and sarah and debbie and carolyn* MG POWER!!!! AND MG TERNISERS!
Haha yeeah :)
Just now when we were eating dinner, becky sneezed and pasta came out of her nose. HEEHEE!

YAY I'M BACK!
I can't believe I haven't posted about spex or all the cool stuff that's been happening recently.
But OH WELL!
So I slept over at Raintree last night! Hehe super fun! Now we're all crazy about Project Runway because we've been watching it on YouTube again. I'm still only on Season 3 though.
ANYWAY!
Um so here's how I've been spending my March holidays:
Homework :(
Spex tournament! (more abt that later)
FAITH
Stupid projects
Training
Going to raintree
Blogging
Facebook
Watching PROJECT RUNWAY!
So... yeah. OH and I also rearranged some stuff in my room.
Ok, spex tournament.
Let's start with: SINGLES!
Oh I got a bye in the first round.
Then I got a walkover.
Then I lost.
But it was really close okay! 7-6, 7-5.
ARGH!
Doubles:
Me and lizzie won the first round! 6-1, 6-2... right, lizzie?
Then we lost to the second seed! 7-6, 6-1.
:(

Hmm should I change my blogskin? I'm getting kinda bored of this one.
Maybe I will.
Ok I guess I'll go finish watching project runway now!
OHNO I just realised I haven't used a smiley face in this whole post!

Tournament was cancelled today, so we had to go back to class! :(
Actually, the term "loser" is only relative. I mean, a loser wouldn't have the same definition of "loser" as someone cool or someone less loserish. So the loser, which probably wouldn't think that himself/herself is a loser(and if he/she did, then they're even bigger losers), would think losers are even more loser-like than someone who isn't a loser.
It was against SCGS and I was all excited and stuff, then Mrs Thomsett came and said it was postponed to after March holidays. And we had to go back to class! Bleh.
But Joy sprained her ankle and can't play for another week, so I guess it all works out for the best.
Ah well.
WHOO! Holidays start today! Except there's holiday homework. Every teacher should be like Mrs Hor and say: "Oh it's holidays, so I won't give you any work!" Except in the end she did give us work...
Huh.
Hey don't you hate it when you're trying to get someone's attention, and they are looking at you, but you don't know if they're actually looking at you, so you keep staring at them, trying to figure out if they are looking at you, and they actually ARE looking at you, and are thinking the same thing that you're thinking?
After reading this, you probably think I'm the biggest loser in the world. BUT I'M NOT :) This is a very truly positively real life situation. It happened to me twice today! Haha you probably think I'm an even bigger loser now.
Never mind, I'm just confusing myself.
Hey after looking at the word "loser" for a long time, it looks funny!

Oh speaking of relative, we asked lao shi if he was old and he was like, "RELATIVELY". HAHA :)

But for the rest of the subjects, I guess I'm okay. I PASSED CHINESE BY TWO POINT SIX MARKS!! :):):)

Tournament was rained off today. :(
So we get to skip more school tomorrow!
But it was really annoying how we waited around for like THREE HOURS just to find out that the match is postponed. But still, it was fun :D
Orchestra performance yesterday!
It was... boring. Which was what I expected anyway.
But it's like TORTUROUS because they hit a loud note and I think it's gonna be over, then it goes on and on and on! Then the conductor leaves, then HE COMES BACK AGAIN!
The second part was even more boring than the first part. At least with the soloist, it was a little more interesting a little less boring.
Really, I don't know why people go there by choice.

But 9-5 is actually really good considering her opponent. YAY sarah! :D

Cross country is tomorrow! Aw man. I don't wanna run 3 km! Or more. And we have training after! If Coach makes us run, I'm gonna be MAD. I hate running. This totally ruins my day.

Oh yeah something else kinda random happened that I forgot to post about on Friday. Before our match, Coach was talking to us, then suddenly his phone rang and his ringtone is a weird Chinese song that sounds like a theme song for a chinese drama. Then everyone started laughing. Heehee.

2nd doubles- Liz and ME! - 9-1
3rd singles- Joy- 9-0
YAY! Too bad we lost one game :( or it would have all been 9-0! But we still won... even though I was playing really badly.
I seem to play really badly against bad people, but I play better against good people.

Hi sorry the previous part was so short!
Anyway, tonight's the orchestra thing, and I still don't know what to wear!!! Why do we have to wear a dress/ skirt and blouse? They wore jeans last year! I bet it's because everyone wore jeans last year, so they decided to make us dress "formally". And I don't have a knee-length skirt! I think. Maybe a little shorter than knee length. Bah. And we can't even eat sweets! I bet it's gonna be SO boring. Even the briefing was boring!
On Thursday Me, Sarah, Debbie and Lizzie went to Macs after school, then went to Lizzie's house for tennis! Then we went up to her house and ended up spending the whole 45 minutes taking pictures on her Mac. Go see them on Facebook:

Why I'm looking forward to TOMORROW:
1. It's one day closer to FRIDAY!
2. We're gonna watch ANNIE during music!
3. There's ISO!
4. There's training which means I'll probably get to play doubles again!
YIPEE I've been feeling so happy and high the past few days!
Maybe it's getting boring for you, because it's not all that great listening to some idiot ranting on and on about why life's great.
So I'll move on.
Today when we were writing zuo wen, there were these birds outside class and just as lao shi came, THEY STARTED CHIRPING AND TWEETING REALLY LOUDLY! Must be some sort of bird greeting. :D But really, it's hilarious how all these bird things happen when lao shi is around.
