Today Carolyn, Michelle, YS, Adeline and Krystin came over!
We made pizzas and watched Step Up 2 and swaveboarded and had fun :)
So sad that YS and Krystin are going to NUS High. :(
I've finished watching all of the movies I got for Christmas!
I watched 1 movie or more per day. I wonder what that did to my eyesight. Yikes. :S
Oh and the sleepover yesterday was fun :D
Except Sarah and Debbie and Becky have decided to call me raisin.
But it's kind of cute, in a weird way.
We played tai ti until one, i think. Fun :)

With Dana, Daniel, Deanne, Joshua, Ethan, Shen, Yang, Becky and all their parents.
They're all younger cousins, in case you were wondering :)
It was so fun!! We went rollerblading and swaveboarding and rented pedal cars. :) I had to pedal the car/ push the car from the back while at least 4 kids sat in the back, drinking coke. But I had some help. And it was worth it :)
We're sleeping over at Raintree tonight! Last sleepover of 2008. *sniff*
School starts in... 3 days? Ah well. Back to learning. No more sleeping in. :(

Today Bernice, Sarah and I helped out in the kindergarten party at church.
It wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would be. :)
The kids were kinda cute.
And there was a magician who inflated a huge balloon then went inside it. Haha it sounds weird but it was actually kind of cool. :)
School is starting soon.
I got a new school bag. :)
I guess I'm excited, but I'm really nervous too.
I'll really miss P6 :(
I don't really know where exactly the Sec One classes are.
I'm afraid I won't do well in Sec school.
I'm sad that 6.6 is splitting up.

Ah well, I guess I'll get used to it soon.
Even though it seems impossible now.
It's like P1 all over again.

Oh but today me and becky saw this barbie High School musical 3 advertisement where this girl and her barbie sing "I Want it All". And the girl sings so out of tune with exaggerated movements. HAHAHA
The Christmas party at Ewart Park was fun :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
It's finally Christmas!! I opened all my presents this morning and I LOVE MY PRESENTS! THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Tonight I'm going to Ewart Park for the Christmas party!
And yesterday was the Raintree Christamas Eve party! It was so fun :)
We ate turkey and ham and mashed potatoes and lasagna and sausages and rolls and wontons and apple crumble pie and cheesecake and ice cream! Then after dinner we went to sarah and debbie's house (next door) and played Guitar Hero World Tour with the drums and mic and guitars and all! :D
I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I hereby dedicate this entire post to the greatest day of the year!

I think I'm playing Geo Challenge too much. On Monday when I was playing tennis, I saw a puddle on the floor and immediately wondered if it looked more like Poland or Afghanistan. :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! I can't believe tomorrow's Christmas! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! But I know I'll be really sad when Christmas is over. :(

HI!
First of all, I am not taking Higher Chinese. I hope I made the right decision. :S But I think I wouldn't be able to handle it. My tuition teacher was disappointed. Heh :)
Here's what happened on...
SUNDAY!
My parents brought us to the Singapore vs. Vietnam football match! At first I thought: yawn... But it was actually okay! Singapore lost in the end :( 1-0.
And everyone kept shouting Malay swearwords, so I guess it's good that I don't know Malay. :)
Then...
MONDAY!
I bought Becky's Christmas pressie! :) Then I played tennis with Debbie in SICC. Then we had dinner there and that's when we decided to sleep over! And we had fun! :)
Actually the rest of Monday is kind of hazy. I don't remember much. Oh well.
Which brings us to...
TODAY!
I slept over at Raintree yesterday!
Then this morning we went shopping! AGAIN!
At Takashimaya! AGAIN!
Then we went to Paragon and Borders!
And had lunch at KFC! It's kind of gross how oily KFC chicken is now. But it's yummy! :)
And I bought a book from Kinokuniya! (Is that how you spell it?)
And Sarah was sad because of her stolen bag. :( awwwwww.
And now I'm watching FRIENDS! :)

Dover Celebrates Christmas!

Yesterday was Dover Celebrates Christmas! (It's a church event for the Dover Community) We were in charge of the games stall. So we had to stand there for 45 minutes catching and picking up stray frisbees and clapping.
Then the FUN PART!
When me and becky's shift was over, we went to play games and met up with Dana, whose stall was cotton candy. (lucky!) Then we bought ice cream sandwiches and made cotton candy! so fun!!! Then there was a concert, but we just played games to earn prizes! Aunty Sher had lots of coupons, so we used her coupons to earn prizes, then gave them to her stall for them to give out as prizes. :)
When it was over (about 8), I was SO TIRED. Especially since I had SPEX training before it.
But overall, it was fun! :)

Sec One registration. Higher Chinese?

Today was the Sec One registration!
So many new people coming to MG. But lots of old people staying too!
The talk was just about MGS history and curriculum and stuff.
But after the talk me and Carolyn went to look at our old classroom! *sniff* I'll miss 6.6. It's all dusty now! And there are board games in the cupboard. Did anyone know that?!
And I still don't know if I should take higher chinese!
PROS: Better understanding of Chinese, and slight advantage. and i'll be in the same class as other people (haha, not really a good reason)
CONS: I hate Chinese. I'm bad at Chinese. I have not much interest in Chinese.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

But on a happier note, we're getting a Christmas tree tonight! :)

So I went shopping AGAIN today with stephie and becky on Orchard Road.
OH! But before we went shopping we went to my grandma's house (father's side) and made lasagna and curry puffs! YUMMY!!!!
Then we went to Isetan, then Tangs, then Paragon.
Becky got a LeSportsac bag.
Stephie got rhinestones for her DS.
And I didn't buy anything at all!
Bah. All I got was a McFlurry and sore feet. But still, it was kinda fun :)
Only a few days till Christmas! :) And we still haven't gotten a Christmas tree! :( Double bah.
At least all my Christmas shopping is done though :)

Christmas and Chocolates!

Slept over at Raintree last night! We made chocolates for the whole family for Christmas last night! :) We used digestive biscuits, hazelnuts, chocolate chips and Oreos! So yummy. Sarah took so many pictures of them, trying to make it "artistic". But it was fun!
Then this morning we had guitar lesson! Then after lunch we went to... TAKASHIMAYA to go Christmas shopping! I've finished almost all of my Christmas shopping now. YAY!
Hmm. Not much to post about, so I'm gonna watch FRIENDS! :)

NEW STUFF THIS WEEK: (news! get it? NEWs! hahahah :) )
NEW GLASSES!
Yes, I got new glasses. They look almost the same as my old ones though :) I tried on so many pairs of glasses! (I think the shopkeeper was kind of annoyed.hehe.) but they looked weird. So I decided that old is best! Well, not always.
NEW SHOES!
This isn't big news, but I was looking for other new stuff to talk about. :) I was outgrowing all of my "formal" slippers, and the only one left gave me blisters. So yesterday I bought slippers at Vivocity! They're pretty :)
NEW TREE!
We're getting a new Christmas tree! The old one was thrown away because it was rusty and old. But then I found out WE WEREN'T GONNA GET A CHRISTMAS TREE THIS YEAR! How can we not get a Christmas tree during CHRISTMAS?! Luckily becky and I persuaded my parents to get a Christmas tree :) We haven't exactly gotten it yet, but we should be getting one this week :)
I love Christmas :)

YAY! I changed my blogskin. I was kind of bored with the old one since I've had it like forever.
So I'm in Raintree now! I'm using Sarah's computer because she has to go off for tennis soon. :)
Hm. I really need to go Christmas shopping. I've hardly gotten any presents yet. Except *** for _____. :D
Oh and I have tuition today. in about 20 mins. :( bleh. there's practically nothing to do during tuition, so it was SO BORING last week. She made Debbie and I talk about our entire Perth trip in chinese. Like we could remember exactly what happened on each day. So we just slotted in whatever we did on whatever day. And after we finished talking about out entire trip, she was like, "di er tian ne?" which means "What about the second day?" She thought we could go to King's Park, go to the chocolate factory, play tennis, see the stars, do the farmstay thing and go to the beach all on one day. -_-
And we had to write a composition about it. Which Debbie and I just finished this morning.
I guess I shouldn't complain since Chinese tuition is the only tuition I have. :)
But still.

IT'S RAINING!
I feel...bleh. I was in a good mood in the morning at Raintree. But now I feel so blah. But I'll probably feel better in a while :)
Debbie got BRACES today!! It's not coloured :( She looks pretty much the same though, except now I can call her Metal Mouth. :)
Oh and you know what I find kind of annoying? When I ask someone a question, but they're not really paying attention, so they just go: "Because..." AND THEY DON'T FINISH THE SENTENCE. So I'm just waiting for their answer while they just go on with whatever they were doing before. >:(
No offense to anyone though :)
We're learning to play "While You Were Sleeping" By Casting Crowns on guitar now. Not that there's much to learn. Just the chords and strumming and stuff.

Chocolates!

Today Becky and I made... CHOCOLATES!
We bought a silicon ice tray, but filled it with melted Cadbury chocolate instead :) with oreo cookie chunks inside! so yummy but probably very unhealthy.

Anyway, I don't have much to post about except that I doubled my score for Geo Challenge on Facebook! Woohoo! I'm such a nerd. But Geo Challenge is really addictive, much like Who has the Biggest Brain. :)
Oh! and a few days ago, I dropped a knife on my foot. A KNIFE ON MY FOOT! luckily it was just one of those butter knives, so other than a bruise I was okay. :)
And Faith is supersupersuper cute!!!
Yesterday, debbie, sarah, becky and I were trying to teach her how to laugh. So I told her the chicken crossing the road joke and she made a sound! she didn't exactly laugh, but I bet she was trying to. :) haha.
oh, and then debbie told her a knock-knock joke and she started to cry, so I guess she isn't a big fan of knock-knock jokes. ah well.

Watched Wildchild with Becky at Orchard Cineleisure today. It's nice :)
It's starring Emma Roberts! Who I sometimes find kind of annoying, but in Wildchild, she's actually ok.
Then after the movie, we did NEOPRINTS! or whatever it's called. so fun :) except the instructions are all in japanese, and we didn't really understand, so we ended up choosing some wrong things, but STILL FUN! XD
Then we had lunch at KFC!

So today was the SPEX doubles finals.
Me and Lizzie....lost 9-4 :( there were so many sudden deaths and WE COULD HAVE WON! but oh well, at least i got the trophy. i would post a picture but i left it at raintree.
i know. very smart.
ANYWAY! after our match, there was the prize presentation. with LUCKY DRAW! and since the sponsors of the tournament were sony ericsson, they were giving away 3 BRAND NEW SONY ERICSSON PHONES! And guess who won one of them???
