ALOUD! was yesterday night. I actually didn't have tickets, but michelle had an extra one, so she invited me :) Bernadette was 3rd! CONGRATS :) Odelia was 2nd and Nathania was 1st. Some pictures from last night:

I'm having post-olympics depression :( so sad that i can't just turn on the TV to have something to watch.
Top 10 olympic sports :
1. Tennis!!
2. Diving- especially the synchronised one where 2 people dive at the same time :)
3. Gymnastics- beam, the vault, floor, trampoline, bars
4. Table tennis- YAY singapore won a medal!
5. Volleyball
6. High Jump
7. Long Jump
8. Pole vault
9. Archery
10. Atheletics- short distance running --but i hate usain bolt >:(
Worst 10 olympic sports:
1. Fencing- booooooring
2. Judo
3. Taekwando
4. Boxing - you hurt your opponent to win. come on.
5. Gymnastics- rings
6. Marathon running- yawn. too long
7. Rhythmic gymnastics- it's okay, but it's kinda like dancing, not gymnastics
8. Weightlifting- it's funny to watch, but a weird sport
9. Handball
10. Wrestling- ESPECIALLY the women's

Hooray! PRELIMS ARE OVER!! Well, actually Health ed. and SS are next week, but the main papers are over :) English and Maths were average, Chinese was hard (well, my chinese is bad) , and Science was half ok, half hard. :P

PSLE ORAL!

Today was PSLE ENGLISH ORAL! I was so nervous before the exam. Actually, the exam turned out to be good :D It was abt a robotics competition and 2 teams were against each other. The reading passage was also quite easy. :D For conversation, they asked me: "Tell me abt a competition you participated in." So I told them abt tennis competition, even thoh we emerged 4th and were disappointed, we knew that winning wasn't everything, etc etc. And just before the exam, when i was reading my oral revision bk, there was a picture of a competition! luckyluckylucky! so i said "i think that competitions are a wonderful avenue and experience for pupils to showase their talents." haha :D hooray! good start to PSLE :)

MY AUNT JUST GAVE BIRTH!!! TO A BABY GIRL!!! hooray! i have a new cousin :D i wonder what they're going to name her. they had this whole list of names, and they were going to choose, but the baby was early, so they haven't chosen yet. the due date was supposed to be 18 August, so the baby has the same birthday as sarah and deb's mother! eek i'm so excited :D i'm gonna go to the hospital later to see her. yay :)
