today was the first day of tennis camp. i was in the advanced group, with sarah and alicia. coach michael retired, and the new head coach is coach hashim, who's my private coach too. it was really tiring in the beginning, but afterwards we played games, and it was better.

lately, becky, my mum and i have been watching Gilmore Girls. my mum's friend lent us 7 seasons, but so far we're only on season one, disk 5. i love it, it's so nice!!!!!! it's abt a mother, who's called lorelai and her daughter, who is also called lorelai, but everyone calls her rory, but i don't know why.

29 days till christmas!!!

sorry i haven't posted for so long.
today i had tennis in school. i spent the whole time playing a doubles match. me+sarah vs. alicia+allison. we won! 6-5 tiebreak-8-6.

holidays have been FUN. i can't wait for the next 2 weeks because i'm going to malaysia for cell retreat this weekend, then i have tennis camp for 5 days, after that i'm going to krabi. yipee!

just came back from perth 2 days ago. it was so fun!!!

Day 1:
I sat with sabrina and berenice on the plane, watched the simpsons. Homer is the worst father ever. then we landed, and got on the bus and went to lake monger. it was so cold there, thank goodness we only stayed there for 20 mins. we checked in to city stay apartments. i roomed with berenice, tanya and amanda, who fell sick during the trip :(

Day 2:
fremantle market! we looked around and i bought hardly anything. we went to have lunch at the fish and chips restaurant. the servings were so big, i barely managed to finish mine. then we went to kings park. the grass was so green and comfortable, with no insects at all. i thought of that today as i sat on the prickly grass covered with red ants...

Day 3:
trip to boshack. so many flies. had a delicious hotdog lunch in the netted cage, which meant no flies! caversham wildlife park next. we fed kangaroos, saw lots of animals, and petted koalas. back to hotel to sleep.

Day 4:
went to Methodist Ladies College (MLC). my buddies name was belinda. she was nice. we went to class for math lesson. their lessons are so fun! then lunch which was sandwiches etc. then we went to orchard glory farm. so nice! movie marathon then zzzzzzzz...

Day 5:
Worm Farm. guy takes rubbish, mushes it up, gives it to worms, worms eat it, they poo, he collects poo, then he has fertilizer, and the rubbish is gone. gravity discovery center. bush walk, still so many flies. then we went inside too look at the exhibits. nighttime, we had a "night with the stars". we saw so many stars and jupiter too!

Day 6:
Boo hoo! last day in perth! toured the farm: sheep shearing, animal petting, animal feeding, wine bottling. fun! then we had to say goodbye to perth and we headed back to singapore. ;(

perth was so much fun! i hope we'll have another trip next year too!
